Derek and Krissy Letcher have a philosophy of quiet determination, honesty, and superior customer service. Each and every project is bespoke; that means individually designed and made for you from high quality materials and attention to detail is embodied in every project.
Because we are a small company, dedicated to quality and service, from your first visit, you get to speak directly to the craftsman, and your plans are hand-drawn by Derek. We believe in designing better spaces for our clients and we realise you are entrusting us with your home. We take this responsibility very seriously and it shapes the way we run our business.
When Bespoke Projects Ltd was born, few people had heard of the word “Bespoke” and we were often asked what it meant. Little did we realise, within a short space of time, the word would be branded everywhere. For us “bespoke” is about being authentic, we believe following trends should be avoided because we want all our products to bring you joy for a long time and working closely together with our clients is a prerequisite for creativity and style.
Derek was in his mid-30s when the opportunity of learning a new skill came along, he decided to jump at the chance, not realising that this would lead to owning his own cabinet making business in years to come. Derek has always maintained a passion for working with timber and creating new products. His genuine personality is appreciated by clients and he goes out of his way to deliver a quality product that is to his high standard.
Krissy encountered the true meaning of “bespoke” and the importance of customer service while working for Rolls Royce Motor Cars in England. Since the beginning of Bespoke Projects Ltd, Krissy’s focus has been raising their young son, as well as completing a Diploma in Interior Design. Now William is at school there is more time to add this knowledge and provide one on one service to each client which she believes is a priority.
Recently we have grown our business moving to a larger premise and now slowly growing our team with the addition of James Patterson, a highly talented man. His creativity, and desire for knowledge and learning, has led him from being a successful chef to exploring the world of cabinet making. He is passionate about ergonomics within the kitchen and sustainability of products.
